The minimum tool requirements for starting day include hand tools and test equipment for voltage, amperage, and continuity, flashlight, and hardhat. We also require a full background check, drug test, and a clean drivers license. Globus Electric does NO residential wiring, only industrial and commercial. Salary commensurate with experience.

Present Career Opportunities

Description: Full Time Electrician, Industrial-Commercial Only; 
Responsible for installing, trouble-shooting and repairing electrical equipment, services, and motor controls.

Requirements: Minimum 5+ years experience as industrial electrician, strong trouble-shooting ability, must be able to work alone or with minimal supervision:

• H.S. Grad or GED

• Trade certificate a plus

• Able to work with low, medium, and high voltage

• Able to work from schematics, blue prints, or verbal instruction

• Able to inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to diagnose problems

• Familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA Code, State and Local Building Codes, and OSHA safety regulations

• Complete knowledge of power tools & bending equipment

• Electronics experience desired. (PLC & AC/DC motor drive experience a plus)
